help me find this ground connector/crimp

help me find this ground connector/crimp

ok. i do not know what it is called. but i took a pic of it. its factory on the evo8/9 so if you need a better idea of what it looks like go look under your hood.

here is a pic. its the copper ground connector for the stock ground wire. it allows the ground wire to go threw the connector ''or whatever it is called'' without cutting the fire and still being able to be bolted to the chassis/body of the car. and then to the battery. does anyone know what i am talking about or what it is called and where to get it.

i would just put a ring terminal on each of the wires and not worry about getting the exact same one. i dont see how it could make a difference.

i would rather do it this way ''as factory'' if i can find that part. if it comes down to it then ill do it with 2 terminals.

You would probably have to order the cable and connector as one assembly from the dealer.

that would be a part of the factory battery harness, i would bet youd have to order the whole thing roughly 170 from russell

i do not want a stock harness. i want to upgrade it to a 2 gauge ground wire. someone has to sell these types of connectors. but the question is what is it called and where do we find them. lol

I think I have seen that part in the" help" brand in the parts stores wouldn't be to hard to make one out of copper tubing though.

i just tried the tubing idea. it did not go over to well. i have a few idea's to try with more tubing though as i think it is a great idea. i will see if i can get it to work. but lets keep looking for this type of connector/crimp thing
