I haven't been able to find info online abt what is exactly included in the sound part of the ssl package. Is it just the sub or are the speakers upgraded compared to the other evo sound systems speakers?

 

Just the sub and some sort of amp

 

Seats and sunroof as well. Seats, sunroof, and sound.

AFAIK, it's the sub, the amp, and the HU.

 

which one is supposedly the better one if u guys dont mind me asking? the mr or ssl? is both 6 speed?

 

I may be bias, but I don't think one is "better" than the other. The MR's are 6 speed and the SSL's are 5 speed. The SSL package comes with the upgraded sound system and a subwoofer in the trunk, a sunroof (MR's have aluminum roofs w/o sunroofs), HID's, leather Recaro's and a leather interior. SSL's come stock with KYB suspensions and the MR's come with the Bilsteins. From what I have seen over the years on the forums; the 5 speed is preferred, the MR Bilsteins are preferred and the everything else is personal preference.
