Wiper malfunction but the wires are dry
Wiper malfunction but the wires are dry
So it rained a bit here and there and in the morning the rain freezes over. But it wasn't until I was driving home from work approx 8 hours later so the car had plenty of time to dry or what not because it hasn't rained for the rest of the day. During my commute home my wipers had a mind of it's own. The wipers are going off while the switch is in the off position and when i turn the wipers on, they slow down. If I use the sprayer it works at normal speed. At one point during my 30 min commute home they got stuck halfway across the windshield and the switch doesn't do jack. It would also go off while the car is off.
So I check the wiring by the wheel well and inside the cabin. Crazy thing it's dry, and sealed. Of course of 2 days of these symptoms, it happens to go away after doing all that work so my only guess is the wiper motor.
Anyone got suggestions?
