I think you just answered your own question on the culprit of the problem. Since you have an SRS light meaning something in the system isn't working and the horn isn't working I would guess the clock spring is the problem.

Wouldnt you need to get the SRS light reset even after finding the issue?

Glad to hear I was on track. Do I get a cookie? I would settle for a beer.

I too am interested if just fixing the problem will reset the air bag computer. I have a friend that has worked quite a bit on air bags at a dealership and will ask him and see what he has had to do in the past.

It's nice of you to share this. I hated it when people come on here asking for help, get it, and never come back to let the rest of us know what was the cause and fix.

Glad to hear, i had the same problem ( Horns not working/SRS light on) but when I swapped my clock spring out last month (was broken ) the horns now work but the SRS light is still on.....I don't think its automatically going to turn off as I had reset the battery also while swapping clock springs out and reconnected everything (Yellow plugs/under seat plug etc)

Since you got the part from the dealership, did you bring in the car by any chance? Possible my car may have another issue triggering the SRS/keeping it on... just wanted to be certain the dealership didnt reset the SRS light for you
