Safe POS cable run for trunk battery

I i have run the positive cable from the trunk, along the passenger side through a grommet in the fire wall. All of that is great. The problem is that I dont know where to run the wire inside the engine bay. I have a Scosche-Efx Sblock that I am going to run everything to.

I dont know where a good place to mount the Scosche-Efx Sblock
And I cant seem to find a good CLEAN, SAFE run in the engine bay for the positive cable.

Any idea? Even better would be someone who has done this run before chiming in!

Thanks!

Well to me, you just gained a bunch of space where the battery was located in the drivers side area of the engine bay and the wires are already near there, make a bracket or just mount it to the tray bracket. As for the wire put some loom on it and run it along the firewall and secure it to the brake lines or something out of the way a bit. Cleanliness is a must. I always loom wiring inside the engine bay as I cannot stand to see raw wires all over, it looks lazy and un professional.

Also if you like to, hardware and electrical stores sell rubber covered wiring holders and they can be screwed or bolted, and you could use existing nuts or bolts from the firewall or even come all the way around the front of the engine bay to wherever you decide to mount your positive distribution block. lots of options.

This may be a bit rhetorical but when your exhaust manifold mounted close to the firewall I suggest keeping the wire away from there. Another idea, run it inside the wiper/sprayer vent damn at front of windshield, if possible. I have seen wire tucks like this, it looks sweet.

Thanks for the suggestions. Its an evo 8 so the exhaust manifold is in the front. Right now it is run lazily along the firewall but I like the suggestion to check out a hardware store to wiring holders.
