Newb questions, evo 8 & guages

Sup people, recently acquired an Evo 8 that needs minor work. This is my first turbo car, so I am slowly learning.

The car came with a electric autometer oil pressure gauge which does not work. I took it off the pod and saw that it has only two wires coming out the back, which I'd assume is positive and negative. The previous owner told me that is was working, but after doing a timing belt and disconnecting an alarm, it has stopped working, not sure if it's related or not, but it was working before that. If anyone has any idea why the gauge would not be working, or ways to test different culprits, I'd appreciate it.

There is a wideband in the car also, same story as above, but this has a bunch of wires coming out of it. If anyone can tell me what widebands usually connect to other than pos, neg & o2 sensor, I'd better be able to trace the wires and see why it's not working.

There is a switch near the cup holders, what is that for?

Does anyone sell pre-cut, red tint for the taillights? I am not fond of the stock clear taillights.

Where can I source a upper timing cover?

I figured out all of the gauges, I've decided to purchase a manual oil pressure gauge, anyone knows the approximate length of a -3AN steel braided line I'd need to run from the oil filter location to the inside of the car?

Also any insight as to what the switch is for near the cup holders?

Thinking you would be better served using the electric OP gauge. As you realized when you lose a connection on that one you have to find the problem and reconnect it-- if you spring a leak with the mechanical gauge you stand a chance of pumping oil into your car-- I know you looing at SB line-- but I have seen it happen before- Good Luck.

Electric OP gauge, don't go mech. The switch by the cup holders is your Intercooler Sprayer switch. Widely unused, but some use it for their meth/alcky injection. Mine is disconnected. Do you have a boost gauge?

thanks guys, the car already has a oil pressure gauge and boost gauge, I'm just going to hook them up correctly. The previous owner half-assed many things on this car.
