I'd like to install some running lights without doing any permanent installation holes. I find that when canyon driving its good to have some visibility when driving a black car so cars don't overtake coming head on without seeing you. I'd like to double side tape some LED running lights that show up so I don't have to wear my main headlights out.

What? Why would you not just use your normal headlights?

I don't think double sided adhesives are gonna work here. The elements already suck enough, then throw in always on lights which will get pretty hot and I wouldn't expect it to last too long. On top of that it will likely do damage to the paint, either from chemical reactions between the adhesives and the terrible mitsubishi clear, or by scratches induced through vibration.
