Headlight timer
Hey everyone
Just curious if anyone has ever tried installing like a headlight delayed timer (not sure what to really call it), so when you step out of the car, the headlights remain on for a certain time (like 15 sec) , then shut off (like what modern cars have). If anyone has done this or knows how to do this lmk. Thanks.

Well, you could get a turbo timer, and leave your headlights on, as they turn off when the car turns off. Turbo timers can be had cheap now days, on my last beater I bought Apexi turbo timer knock off for 20 bucks on ebay that worked perfect. Could have gotten it for 15, but wanted the red lights, and that was 5 bucks more haha.

You need a time-delay relay.

Wiring Instructions for a typical headlight setup(not evo specific):

Basically these relays will continue to supply 12v for a pre-set time after signal to the relay is cut.
