Evo 9 rear bumper corner lights

Hey everyone, I have an ‘06 9 MR and the drivers side rear bumper corner light is out. To be more specific is the rectangular lights on the sides of the rear bumper. They are always on when the lights are turned on but my drivers side one is out.
I pulled the light out and changed the bulb but no dice.
Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Might be some fuse, connector or the electrical cable that took damage, if it's the only bulb not working I would check the cable with it's connectors the whole way back to the fuse box

(And please be so kind to make an introduction thread about yourself and your Evo)

I just took my USDM rear off, so I had a close look at this wiring.

The liscense plate bulbs, and rear running lights are the same circuit. There are only 2 pins on the connector going to the rear fascia. One is ground, one is hot with the running lamp circuit on.

If your plate lights are working, but the sidemarker is not- you have an open either in the harness, or in the connector. Find where your open is and you will fix your problem.
