hello,

i just put in Powertune turn digital dash on my evo 8, removed the factory cluster and my altinator stopped charging... when i put it back there altinator works again.

anyway to bypass this?

Yeah you have to either connect a light bulb or a resistor between alternator positive - C-01 pin 9 and alternator positive - C-01 pin 19. I did the bulb just for ease of use and I was in a time crunch.

Not a problem, glad I could help with this. Its not hard but you may have to cut the harness to get a good bite on the wires. Thats what I had to do.

 

yeah i just put a cheap amazon led between those pins. works great
