Evolution VIII MR EDITION (clutch)

I was wondering since the MR has a different tranny If the clutch it uses is the same clutch that is used on the regular 5 speed transmission. The reason i was asking is that i was thinking that all of the clutch upgrades that they have for the EVOLUTION VIII now could be used for the 6 speed tranny which would give us many upgrade choices for a new clutch that would be better than stock. If anyone knows anything about this it would be a big help since I will be installing Buschur stageIII on the new MR.

Thanks in advance

Derek

The MR appears to use the same pressure plate as the 'regular' EVO (GSR) but has a different clutch disk. Just by verifing PN#'s with CAPS.

I believe the overall size will be the same, the clutch disc is probly simply made of different material...

or it may have different splines for the 6-speeds input shaft

Tym at Buschur said that he did not know for sure if everything would be an easy fit on the MR . Just thought that someone would have seen the bottom of the MR for exhaust fitment/ upper intercooler fitment because of ACD stuff.
