1st gear....is this normal

I haven't really noticed it until lately but when I am in first gear and accelerate hard the shifter rattles, almost violently if I just leave it in place with my hand on it. However, if I push it further into the 1st direction, the rattle seems much less severe. The other gears are not perfectly still, but the shake experienced is not as dramtic as first. I have no problems engaging 1st, or 2nd for that matter. I am just wondering if this is typical among other evos. I know that drivetrain is noisy and rattles but this almost seems unusual. Has anyone else experienced this? What could it be if it is a defect? Thanks in advance

yeah, all the way in gear for sure. it drives fine but the shifter shakes unless i push it farther foward. like i have to hold it 110% in gear for it not to shake. make sense?

I don't get anything like that on my car. You might want to get that checked out at the dealer before it gets worse.
