AVO muffler question

What makes the avo exhaust so quiet? Is the muffler huge? can somebody measure their avo muffler length / width, height.

thanks.

The stock exhaust has 2 presilencers or resonators located in the A pipe. They are probably around 12 to 14 inches long so you really have three mufflers.

I put a Greddy 80mm Titanium catback on my '03 and love it. It weighs right at 10 lbs and sounds great. The stock exhaust is 37.6 pounds!

Here are some pictures. I think the larger volume of the muffler makes it sound quieter but deeper than the average can. There is also a resonator.
