where to buy AVO exhaust?

Anybody know where I can buy an AVO exhaust and downpipe besides from Brainstorm (www.turboperformance.net)? They're a bit expensive from them. Thanks.

AVO Catback for the Evo is expensive everywhere and is definately not worth it IMO.

Go with something else..... And yes Brainstorm is a rip off

All I know about AVO is that they make bad *** kits for Toyota Landcruiser (6cyl.) and Nissan Patrol. Two bad *** SUV's that absolutely tear up the desert in my home country. I wouldn't buy their stuff for the evo though just because of the choices currently available elsewhere.

Thanks for the opinions! They've got good dyno numbers though. But I'll look into other exhausts as well.

I'll give my two cents.

Yes, the AVO is pricey, but is it worth it! Not only is it one of the best performing catbacks out there, it is also one of the quietest exhuasts available on the market. Match it with a DP and high flow cat and you have IMHO one of the best sounding turbo backs out there. Oh yeah, it makes good power too. If noise level is one of your priorities, the AVO should definitely be considered.

The AVO Exhaust is the only quiet exhaust for the EVO. Buy it if sound is a priority. Otherwise, buy the other exhaust and jam the silencer in after you go deaf and have a system that performs worst than stock.

I have AVO and yes it's pricey but when I purchased it 2 years ago, I don't have much choice. I like the way it looks with non-angle, regular muffler style. It's very quiet. You can also look into APS which is similar but a little cheaper (only come in full turbo-back) and as quiet as AVO and straight 3" (the old version of AVO tapped to fix the cat better).

Actually it is 800 and it is worth it. Not loud and obnoxious and it looks like the stocker. None of this angled crap and cannon muffler. Looks even better with the muffler painted black.
