"?" about boost

Here's alittle info on my car. Its basically stock except for HKS SSQV, K&N Filter and boost gauge. And for some odd reason my boost doesn't taper from 19 to 16 in higher rpms..I don't have a boost controller installed nor have I taken the boost pill thing out...I also bought this car new, so there is no previous owner..

Ok here is the problem...

When I go WOT, I notice that i'm boosting 20psi now instead of the usual 19psi and i'm wondering why did it go up 1psi?

It did get colder but could that be the problem?
