Prices for 4G63T Lancer EVO Motors?

What kind of prices have you seen for these engines?

Here is what I have run into so far:

EVO I: $5250
EVO II: $5500
EVO III: $5800
EVO VI (TME) $6300
EVO VII: $7500

Hoping to get cheaper prices than these, hehe. This is all I have found so far though

And, what this price includes? All the accessories? Turbo?
I would expect everything, but I thought I better ask first

I am on the third short block and original head (but rebuilt with everything new). price for a DSM short block is about $1500 (basically, just a crank and pistons, even without the balance shafts) and that is also 4G63 engine. So what else is there in that price, wondering I am!

Thousand apologies for not including what they come with. The engines are used, and just about every one of them comes with a Tranny, ECU, Wiring Harness, and some with mounts.

Complete Engine (Complete Head, block, intake + exhaust manifolds, injectors, alternator, starter, throttlebody, small bolts n' brackets etc., and any other extra/free parts that come with an engine such as AC compressor, power steering pump, fuel rail, intake tube are free, and are not replaceable if found broken or not working. This rule applies to any sensors found broken also. If these extra/free parts are broken, or missing in any shape form or fashion, we will not replace them. Engines are sold in AS-IS condition. No refunds or exchanges.)
ECU
Transmission w/clutch components (assembled to engine)
Stock OEM engine mounts is not guaranteed depending on availability. (Engine packages DO NOT come with bolt-in kits.)
Engine harness (JDM engine harnesses are made for right-hand drive cars. Modifications are needed to be used in a U.S. car, as far as plug n' play. RHD harnesses are only useful for their plugs and extra wiring.)

No shipping included.

I guess they feel that they can do that because EVO motors are so hard to find.

Then again, Evo will be available soon too. Still going to keep my Mirage and drop a Evo motor in though. :P

Either way, I'm hoping to find lower prices.

those prices arent too bad, the evo motors are hard to find, and you cant just use dsm parts cuz its reverse rotation from 4 and up, well i guess yo could use some of the parts, but it would be harder, i got my evo4 motor ecu wiring harness and tranny for 3000 with a turbo that needed to be rebuilt

you could buy a whole front clip for that much... but i'm guessing your getting these numbers from TP Automotive? In anycase, i've seen much better prices in other places... in (nearby for me) seatle they had "The evo3 $3000, Evo5 is $4750, and the Evo7 is $5500." -salesman

that includes:
Engine
Tranny
ECU
Wiring Harness
Intercooler
I/C Piping
Head Lights
Front Bumper
Dash board
Complete Suspension
Complete Brakes
Complete Shifter assebly

May i ask what your gonna be usuing this for... and if its going into a DSM... etc... you know you can only use evo 1-3 for swaps into ONLY 2g DSM's (not sure if the galant has front/rear motor mounts)? Well thats without doing some serious custom work of course. Besides that point your looking at a different final drive ratio etc...

If you wanna keep looking... for prices etc... usually Ebay has a couple for sale. You can watch and see how much they go for on there... otherwise thats all the help i can give.
