I think I have a transfer case problem, cuz I hear a winding sound coming from it when I increase speed. I read all the threads on TC Fluids to use but there's so many. Does anybody know what is the best TC fluid to use and will this thicker fluid lessen the winding sound?

 

I called Shepherd racing and they told me to use the Castrol Hyploy 85 140w. Is that what everyone has used as well? Please give feedback!!

 

If its whining i think you have a bigger problem then just adding more fluid
