What a wind bag!!

You need to take a dose of your own advice.. all you do is blatently try to start trouble with anyone that would have anything to do with Al or Dynoflash. Real mature. Please do us, and the rest of this "WIDE AND DIVERSE" forum a favor, and STFU. Unless, you have something positive to add to the discussion, then your imput is more than welcome. Heck, that's what the rest of us are here for. Not some rediculous, immature, tuner bashing.. It gets real old real quick.

So why don't you have some "tolerance, patience, or ATTEMPT at understanding for fellow human beings" for a minute, and accept that people make different decissions from you. Period.

Have a wonderfull evening!

And to the original poster, yes, give Al from Dynoflash a call and he can help you out. Through his sound advice, great attitude, and excellent tuning he's got me pushing some nice power and seeing some real nice numbers on the track. If you don't like what he has to say, try the next tuner. But don't just take someones word for who's best.. Give them a call and feel them out. That's hard to accomplish on the internet over a forum. Because, as you can see, peoples opinions get in the way too often. Prolly even mine at times.

Good luck!

the reason i said try al is because he has seen a very wide array of setups. also has documented these setups dyno numbers. so if you have some parts in mind or you need a direction he is a very good person to start with.

Indeed.. When I was just starting down the modding path Al really got to know what I wanted out of the car, and really dug down into what I wanted my end results to be, then gave me several optional routes to reach my goal. So far his advice and support have been spot on!

It's worth the call, trust me. The man has a lot of experience and insight; watching him tune a car leaves little doubt of that. 93h22cvc is not just blowing hot air.

Best of luck whichever tuner you choose. But don't rush the decission, because your cars motor is at stake. Keep that in mind.

You know what? I completely respect you position. But don't expect it to carry weight with me or anyone else who has bad experiences with a vendor.

My posts are not my opinion. They are not here because I carry any animosity towards a person or a vendor. My comments and posts are to help and nothing more. I gained 50 WHP by SWITCHING away from a product I purchased to another product. That is not a small amount. How much would YOU pay for 50 WHP? That is how much I FEEL ROBBED FOR. I feel this way. I had a bad experience with a vendor and I WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT. I want to let people know so they can make a more educated and informed decision about where they put their money. Some of you who support DF are doing so out of emotion.

How many of you have had your car tuned by more than just Dynoflash so you can KNOW the difference? I haven't come across someone yet.

If you like I can post links of me PRAISING a vendor or products because they perform as advertised or had excellent customer service.

It is not about bashing or anything about personal grudges. I could care less about Al or the people who sing his praises. Two perspectives are better than one and there is no arguing that. Immature? I don't think so. I think it is close mindedness on you part and some others. If it were anyone other than Al, it wouldn't be such a big deal. But there is a lot of bashing going on against him. And why? Maybe it's a sign man. But hey, nothing will be done because this is not the BBB and he is a paying sponsor.

I truly feel that I am justified in expressing my valid opinion based on my own experience as well as others. I have a right given to me by this country that allows me to have a voice. When something stinks and is terribly wrong, I WILL USE MY VOICE. If something is beyond adequate and deserves positive recognition I WILL USE MY VOICE. It works both ways. It was Al's choice when he treated me and others poorly. It is Al's choice not to apologize as of today. Don't act like it is only me dissatisfied with Al. Don't act like it hasn't happened before. Don't pretend like it won't happen in the future. Al offers what he offers.

There are a limited amount of ways to express what you believe in. Maybe you should recognize and respect that I feel passionately enough about this situation to put my "EvoM reputation" on the line. What I have experienced is real and what I have to say is fact. You cannot convince me that it is not ok to let people know my experience.

I can respect that too. It's your opinion, and in this post you clearly state that, but in others you don't. In many posts you act like what happened (alledgedly) to you will happen to anyone who deals with Al; which couldn't be farther from the truth. He post dyno charts of his methods and results constantly. I'm just being the other side of the coin so that person asking the questions has more than a single sided viewpoint.

And, like has been said many many times by Al, he does sacrifice a little power.. in the name of safety. Power without safety is useless. I'm not saying your tune is not safe, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying there are allways three sides to every story.. yours, theirs, and the truth (which I don't think is being represented here).

I personally have nothing against you. Flame away at Al all if you want; it's your right. But you shouldn't just make posts with the tone "Al sucks, stay away, he won't get you any power" when this has been proven time and time again to not be true. His tunes yeild tons of power. Safe power. Maybe not in your case, or in your impression, but he does.

As far as bad experiences and such.. EVERY tuner has them. Show me one tuner on this forum who doesn't have someone saying "I had X tune and it sucked". At least Al will give you a full refund (in a reasonable timespan) if you're not satisfied, where many others won't.

Anyway, I'll never convince you, and that's not my intent. I'm glad you love your new tune and have someone new to cheer for. But trying to kill someones business because you don't like them or had a bad experience with them is rediculous. Everyone has a bad day and you really may have gotten a bad tune. But if you would have approached it civily, and like an adult, I'm sure Al would have bent over backwards to help rectify the situation. He's done it over and over again in the past.

Enjoy your tune and stop being so bitter. I love my tune and I'm not bitter at all.. Thanks again Al!!!

I agree. I think that we may have a turning point with the forums that will help the bashing and flaming situation immensly. More to come on that. Anyways, until then, good luck!

BTW, if you want to PM me about my experience, please do. It was handled as an adult and the whole thing was blamed on my boost controller. I still have the same boost controller. There is more to every flame or bash than meets the eye. People don't express dissatisfaction with things they have no experience with. A lot of bashing on something, to me, means a lot of bad experiences. Just my 2.

If you are upgrading the turbo you should research some JUN, Piper, or Tomei cams before you get th HKS cams. I have seen some posts on these boards that would lead me to believe that the HKS cams are nice for the stock turbo, but if you upgrade the turbo, the other brands would yield better reuslts (higher lift, etc.). It is something to look into at least. FWIW.

I think about the best you will get out of the stock turbo is a little over 400AWHP on RACE gas.
I also have the same goal as you 400AWHP on pump gas. I'm also trying to do it myself without taking it to a shop for tunning, so I am being slow about it. With all the research I have done I may go with the BR 500 turbo kit. I'm still not sure yet, right now I want to squeze a little more out of my current setup before adding the turbo kit
