Biggest Suprise ever

So i began installing my Hallman MBC with in cockpit control.. I started by drilling underneath the accelerator line and ran the cable in.. then looked to find the ideal position for the controller. I used the newer method listed here by placeing the T in line with the BOV.. and im runnign the other line down toward the wastegate. So i finish putting the T in an begin looking around for how im going to get my hands down there.. I decided it was best to just take the undertray off... but a tiny little blue device caught my eye... at this point im thinking, $#%@ $@#$ %@#$, turns out there was a damn MBC already installed on this car using some weird *** method. Im still in the process of taking the undertray off... but it appears like there is some random T that is attched down there that is just hanging free by itself.. its not attached to anything.. not capped, its a real small blue unit.. not idea what kind.. but the way its hooked up just seems strange. Luckily i have bought extra tubing so i can work this out.

I think i can figure it out... but i dont know if anyone can explain exactly what goes where, as im going to have to play vacumm hose surgeon and finish my Hallman install It looks like where i was supposed to connect my one wire.. they just put the boost controller inline there???

This was a used evo i had bought if you didnt guess already.. and i always felt that it pulled a little stronger then other evos i sat in that even had full upgraded packages. So im wondering it this thing also has a reflashed ecu. I cannot believe the dealership sold me the car like this and was about to put a extended warranty on it... what was gonna happen when i brought it in for repair.. and they say my warranty is voided for some crazy *** MBC setup WTF. oh yeah.. it was charleston mitsubishi.. crooked dealership

well.. the way it was installed, i dont think anyone could have seen it without taking the undertray off and looking around. What a pain in the ***. All the hoses on this boost controller were clamped on and had some sealant on them.. all the hoses were cut short as hell. The tube coming from the turbo was the one giving the waste gate actuator its signal. This car had all kinds of bucking problems from day one that i thought were normal.. then i had major problems when i had the new 02 housing, dp, high flow cat and catback in... Major issue, i immediately put my boost gauge in and took it easy on the car. It wanted to see one time what the boost was hitting .. as i knew it was overboosting. and it was up near 1.6 bar at 6000srpms. Boost didnt spool right in every gear... some it spooled super early and others it didnt. I found it impossible to cap off the turbo vacum tube so i just rigged up a tube with a stopper. I need to go adjust my boost right now! Doing from inside the car is awesome.
