Megan racing products are good, do not be afraid to make the plunge. Do a search, I know a couple people on here are using this exhaust. I have their downpipe and it is A+

For those w/ the megan racing exhaust, how is the sound on the highway? Can this exhaust be described as quiet?

Not to jack the thread, but looks like I will have about five Megan 2nd Gen catbacks (they added the secondary O2 bung where you had to do it yourself on the 1st Gen) early Dec... I like the quality enough that I'm going to run one myself for a while. There are sound clips floating around if you search for them.

I did a search, but there seems to be differing opinions on the sound of the exhaust. I thnk that can be attributed to some running the exhaust w/ a test pipe and others with a cat.
So i was hoping to get a better opinion of the sound of this exhaust, with maybe a sidenote listing cat or catless system.

I like the sound of the exhaust in the clips, but then again that's right next to it... what does it sound like in the car, on the highway or just driving through town. I do not want to attract cops.

I do not have access to any sound clips but I can tell you from first hand experience with my friend GWDEVO8's Megan exhaust that with a downpipe and Megan's high flow cat, which is little more than a resonator, it sounds almost identical to my RMR, low and deep rumble at idle, very nice at part and wide open throttle, whole thing is mirror polished SS. In my opinion it's a wonderful exhaust with quality far beyond it's price.

It's undecided if it will be a long term deal... I'm not even sure I want to be a vendor, but they have made an offer I almost can not refuse. At the very least, I will be doing an initial "buddy" purchase of 5-10 2nd Gen catback/downpipe units. There will be plenty room for you (among others) a cat delete. However, I will not receive anything until early to mid Dec.
