I remember 5 years ago when everything over 2.5" was crazy. Then they went to 2.5" downpipe and 3" catback, then they just getting bigger and bigger. It is a turbo car, the 3.5 will not hurt it that is for sure.

Wrong, the best turbo exhaust is no exhaust. Many turbo diesel trucks run 5" exhausts

And many turbo diesel guys swear off 5" systems and stick with 4" ones...

you will GAIN top end
you will GAIN weight
you will LOSE bottom end
you will LOSE midrange
you will LOSE response

If you're building a ***** to the wall drag car, go ahead.

Your reaching now... there are few absolutes when dealing with the internal combustion engine. Physics (your "gas laws" and the such) apply when all the variables are "known". What is "known" is that the automotive world is filled with educated “guesses". Granted, there is the "excepted norm", but nothing is absolute. I could show you crazy things like street cars running ludicrous compression on supercharged, pump gas engines... and even after you tore it down yourself, you'd still call me a liar because it "can't be". So back off with the "what is" and the caps. "Normally" needs to be inserted after your "will" as all of your assertions have been proven wrong at one time or another. However, they are "excepted" theories.

Hey im 32 i know where your coming from i have installed a couple of different brands of exhaust systems on these cars and this is the quietest cruising around. Also for those guys that think your loosing back pressure think about all the exhaust that has to go through the turbo, thats not a big opening plus its being forced fed anyhow i could go on for ever about that....

Cleanevo- like it says in the begining this is the protoype i wasnt sure if 3.5 would fit up in there.
