Downpipes

I've been asking evo crews about the downpipes and still can't decide what brand I should get. I just checked the RS*R downpipe and they're saying I can get engine power by as much as 50hp. Currently, I have Hks 30th cat back and looking for the downpipes but please help me with the downpipes. I would like to get RS*R downpipe since this item is on sale $160.

I have the Apexi 3"downpipe and it fits perfect and comes with heat wrap so heat stays away from the oil pan. Also it doesn't need a seperate support bar like the RNR says you need to get for theirs.I have the HKS 3" exhaust on my car.

THe RSR is cheap if anything, I have it and its OK... Dps are DPs its just a big pipe. THe RSR Does taper a bit... like 1/8 of an in so if you're **** about FULL 3 in DP then don't get it.

I have the Megan Racing DP. It was 150 shipped. 3" and does not rub the cross braces. I've been running it for a few thousand miles and it's doing great! Why spend more on name? Contact Speednstylez by PM to order! I have several Megan products and they are all great!!! (and cheap )

If you where to change to a 3" downpipe from the turbo back on an evo, would your stock ecu maps be sufficient enough to keep the engine from running lean in normal circumstances? Generally speaking.

The only thing I would warn you against as far as the Megan dp is that it does not retain the factory donut gasket, it just uses a flat gasket and I have heard of people having problems getting a good seal with them, maybe they have a new solution for this, I don't know.
