Exhaust vs Dynoflash

I just purchased an SAFCII, datalogger and apexi power intake and currently have MBC and gauge installed. Right now I am at a choice of either getting a flash or 3" turbo-back exhaust. how effective is the stock 2.5" exhaust setup? Just wondering what opinions are of which to get first.

Probably exhaust. The stock design is only 2.5 inch in diameter, and has quite a few bends near the rear axle. The Cat is restrictive too, so freeing all that up would allow your engine to run much more efficiently. The difference is night-and-day, and leaning out the top end with your AFC will give you that extra kick as well.

go with the 3" turbo back exhaust. Best gain on my car. Here is my ratings for my mods with respect to gain in seat of the pants hp. 1=tubo back, 2=flash, 3=hks cams.

You'll get 60% of the way there tuning your safc.

If you never will go with a turbo upgrade the 2.5" will make more power (torque) all mods being equal

I recommend Buschur's 2.5"DP and 2.5" muffler delete pipe.

I would go turbo back 3" not 2.5" and then custom dynoflash.

Exhaust and then Dynoflash. That way you dont have to have another tune once you get the exhaust.

Both if you can. You need the tune to really take advantage of the exhaust. If you can, also do cam gears before the tune -- with all 3 you will see a lovely bump in power!

3 inch turbo back is the only way, then get a flash.

torn between cam gears or 264 HKS cams, then flash....still doing the 3" asap. What do you think about gears or cams-and are they a DIY install (cams and shafts)?
