Clutch drops will break your t-case whether your restrictor or not. Change your driving style and your t-case should be fine. Learn to slip the clutch when launching.

...yes, slip a little, but not burn it. Of course this is easier to do once you remove the restrictor, but again, I would say that removing it may not be for everyone. To date myself... "some people can screw up a free lunch".

i didn't launch the car.i always slip the clutch.this happen to me after i was pulling in 5th gear going at least a buck20

How did your t-case fail? If your t-case failed w/o you doing any crazy launches on it, it would have failed regardless of whether or not your restrictor was in there.

i never checked after i had it installed.i used the oem lsd oil before.oh shat! i brought some bg fluid for the install.i wonder if he put that in there

If your t-case was fine before the clutch install, then the cause of your failure most likely has to do w/ something that happened during the install. If you didn't do any launches on your t-case since the clutch install, then this failure sounds totally unrelated to the clutch restrictor.

just pm'd ya with a dum question.i been trying to contact the person who installed the clutch.i thought it was weird that it went like it did.have to be the install.
