Any alcohol powered EVO's out there?
Just wondering if anyone is running their EVO exclusively on alcohol, or have a duel fuel setup, and what is needed to convert.
I know you need more fuel delivery, which means bigger injectors and electronic tuning of some sort. I also think you need to condition the fuel lines/seals somehow so they don't get dried out? Actually, I would imagine you don't really need tuning if you want to run alcohol only. Just go up in injector size proportionally to the amount of energy stored in alcohol vs. gas. Like I suppose if you are running 550cc injectors for gasoline, and alcohol only has 2/3 as much energy as gasoline, I guess the car would probably run with the stock ECU if you simply increase the injector size to ~825cc. I don't think they make that exact size, but I'm sure 800cc or 900cc would do the trick.
Anyway, anyone running on alcohol?

Lots of views but no posts. Let me open up the topic a little bit. What exactly would it take to convert an EVO to run ethanol, or the ultimate scenario, a duel fuel vehicle, able to run anywhere from 100%/0% alcohol to 0%/100% premium unleaded, or anywhere in between.
