Exedy Twin Disc Sucks My White A$$

Stick with what works.. We've had the act with 6puck in our car for the whole season and havent changed it. The car pulls consistant 1.4 60' times with nitrous and doesnt slip. I havent seen a clutch that even comes close to comparing to it. I've seen them all... IMHO of course. I couldnt imagine spending 3k dollars on a clutch when you can get one that works better for 550 dollars. .

Do you guys have any ACT with 6 puck combos on high horsepower street cars that are drag raced frequently? Or does anybody else on this board have one? Are you using 6 puck solid hub or did you have ACT make you a sprung one?
My experience w/ 2 disk clutch is that it is very important to double clutch while drag racing.
There ws a huge improvement in my last car when i switched from 1 disc to 2 disc, but only when i double clutched.

A couple things I wanted to chime in on... For starters, I replaced my stock clutch at 18K with an Exedy Twin Disc. To this day I think its still the best mod I've done to my car. I currently have 35K on the car (17K on the clutch) and it has stood up to numerous 1.6 second 60' times, and more then it's fair share of hard street driving. For the record I left the restrictor in the *STOCK* clutch line (note: no stainless line), and didn't mess with anything else as far as the clutch goes (stock fluids, stock pedal height, etc).
I am wondering what the rest of the guys with failing clutches did?
As for the Twin Carbon - It's a very common misconception - but NO it does't hold more power then the regular twin metallic, it will just last longer and will bite harder at an equivilent power level. The upgraded Twin and the Triple will hold more power.
Also Exedy makes MANY quality parts, OE and aftermarket, and to think they are realeasing a sub-par product is assenine. Maybe you just didn't buy the right clutch to go along with your setup.
