i own an srt-4. ihave stage 2, and im upgrading to stage 3 in feb. i want to know some facts about the evo 6 turbo TD05HR-15GK2-10cm2. what mods work well with it? does anyone know what the max psi/hp ratings of this turbo is? any advice would be helpful.

stright from the site
This is the EVO6.5 RS T.M.E Titanium shaft turbocharger with larger 10.5cm^2 Turbine housing. Fits all EVO4-EVO8 cars and offers a larger, less restrictive turbine housing made in A3N material that is less affected than the standard F5 material by anti-lag systems and elevated EGT’s.
The Titanium Aluminide turbine wheel and shaft is 33% lighter than the standard Inconel 713C turbine wheel and shaft. This enormous reduction in the rotating assembly inertia is Mitsubishi’s response to the demand for ever increasing shaft acceleration rates and decreasing turbocharger spool-up. The Titanium Aluminide material is also significantly more stable at 1600F than Inconel 713C.
The effect of increased lag of this larger exhaust housing is more than offset by the increase in spoolup provided by the lighter rotating assembly, resulting in faster than stock EVO8 turbocharger spoolup with increased top end power. Our AEM EMS datalogs show a .3 second boost recovery to 25psi during shifts while producing in excess of 370whp through the stock intercooler!

It’s a great track turbo. Simply the best you can get for the track beside the GT2871R. But the TI 16G is completely bolt on keeping the stock oil return lines and so on. For QM track it won’t give you anything lower than high high 11s with a great driver. In the end ask yourself do you want a monster track car or a drag car or both....
Hmm.. Its the HR turbo not HRA, so it isn't the titanium turbine or shaft.. However its a great all-around turbo.. produces good power and has stable boost.
Out of curiosity, the SRT-4 is also a reverse rotation turbo correct? Someone has released an exhaust manifold that bolts up to the twin scroll turbo on the Neon?

i dont know if they have released an exhuast manifold, but i do know that the manifold is unique it bolted to the turbo. this is the same with the upgraded tdo5 turbo. there are also issues with aftermarket downpipes due to this weird turbo design.
thanxx Az3ar i would love to reach high 11's, but with the traction issue i'll be facing it will be more like low 12's.

finally finished the install thurs night, and stage 3r is crazy....mitzu may not make the biggest turbo's in the world but they make a precise one. they really paid attention to detail with this turbo. the ti-al wheel makes all the difference. spool time is tire peeling fast. much thanks to mitsubishi for this beautiful turbo.
and thanxx for you guys info!

Yes it is a reverse scroll turbo. The stage 3 turbo comes casted inside the manifold. A very odd design. In other words if you wanted to every change the manifold you would have to change the exhaust and o2 housing of the turbo. I couldn't believe it myself so I had to look at it for a while. But still it is a slick and very well built desgn. I have included a page that has pics in it.

Regardless the turbo is a very good fit and performs very well in a stage 3 car. A local friend has this setup and it is impressive. I would say on his car it is probably 400whp. Probably is , it won't stay on the dyno to test it. Everytime the turbo spools up the front wheels torque and it wants to walk off of it. DynoJet dyno that I really dislike for a frontwheel drive car. Next month I am trying to get him to a Dyno Dynamics to get it tested, if he does I will let everyone know what it ran.
