SAFC on top will help if you have the need for more than one map on the cheap.

You can have 3 maps since the SAFC hold two. The TT flash (recommended) for the good, powerful pump gas map and then the AFC for a race gas map and something else. I'm thinking a valet mode.

You need to get the pump and then the flash for the best results. Don't get flashed for the stock pump and then adjust for the pump with the SAFC. That just doesn't make any sense and won't work as well, especially at part throttle, even after a WOT dyno tune of the SAFC.

Just having both installed won't do anything. If your flash is tuned for your mods and fuel, you aren't going to make more power with an SAFC. The SAFC would be good if you were to make a change to a variable, like fuel (race gas) from time to time and want a map to make the best out of it.

I think he's talking about getting a mail-in flash and then dyno tuning with an SAFC on top of the flash. That will result in a little extra power if the mail-in tune is conservative. Dynoflash has my ECU right now and I plan to street tune it with an SAFC and a wideband when I get it back. I'm expecting it to be a little on the rich side since most mail-order tuners leave a safety margin for car-to-car variances.

The only comment I am going to make is that you are going to need more than an SAFC to make your Dynoflash worth a fart. That's just IMO.
