Boost Leak or Something (HELP!)

I just finished doing all my gauges, EGT, oil pressure and re did the boost gauge and got a cleaner set up. I put on the Helix exhaust two days ago and the boost output jumped from 19 flat to 21+, detonated once, bad then turned it way down, now I can get it back it...(sounds funny, doesn't it) I have the dang thing cranked up (my MBC) but it hits and holds 17 and Im not happy...suggestions?

Can you adjust your MBC so that you get 19 psi again?

I keep turning up the MBC but it continues to read 17 psi....I have to go outanc check all the lines again. I just put in a new gauge, and it worked fine when the line was rigged up, now that its done properly, it should workj better, so thats not it....but Im gonna go check anyway

Which vacuum line did you tap for your boost signal? Make sure that line goes directly to the intake manifold.

I got it, holds 19 psi to redline. In the midst of testing, I got a loud exhaust ticket...SOB said he liked the car and wasn't going to give a fine, but his sergean showed up who was a real jerk. Oh well..
