I posted a thread a while ago about having trouble shifting from first-second.it seemed like the gear waned to pop out and was notchy going in to second. My friend has an Evo also and suggested that i shift at higher speeds and rmps due to the triple syncros in the gears.Well, i started shifting between 3-4 and it rarely does it anymore, so i came to the conclusion that it does it most of the time when shifting a lower speed and below 3k . I still get the notchiness once in a while which i figure out shifter is notchy from time to time from what i have read from other evo owners.

 

Drain your transaxle oil and put in GM syncromesh or Penzoil syncroshift. Then your problems wil be solved...
