Removal of oil squirters

Just like to know from those who have been involved in engine building or drag racing whether there is any detrimental effects in removing the oil squirters located at the bottom of the block.
I know that they serve a purpose of removing some of the heat at the bottom of the pistons but also by removing them, oil pressure volume will be significantly improved...
My Evo is a drag only trailer queen that pumps out 680 ATW..

ANy feedbacks or ex[eriences wilil be appreciated...

The oil squirters are meant to quell long term heat transfer to the pistons so I dobut there will be any downsides to removing them for a drag car. I thermal barrier coating on the piston crown should negate the need for the squirters, keep more energy in the combustion chamber and thus make more power. I would go that route if you have the engine already apart.
