What mods do you have on your car and what are your hp numbers on the dyno? Do you have to keep tuning it or just leave it even if the weather changes?

Thanks

i run the D-Jetro version (no MAF sensor) and tune it after we instal a new mod..

my current setup is:

HKS Fcon VPro
HKS EVC 5
HKS RS Intake
HKS Hiper Exhaust
XS Engineering FMIC
XS Engineering Race Max IC piping
XS Engineering 272 Cams
Helix Downpipe
Helix Cat-Delete Pipe
1000cc Injectors
Walbro 255 fuel pump

At a 10.4 AF and on 91 Octane we make 333whp on a Dyno Dynamics AWD dyno..

this is at a very conservative tune for reliablity.. we have seen the numbers in the 350 range with a more agressive tune..

you can read everything in DSPORT Magazine... www.dragsport.com

Thats sweet that your car is in the magazine. How many versions of the HKS F-Con V Pro is there for the Evo? Whats the difference in D-jetro version compared to the others? How is your idle with the 272 cams and are you still using stock clutch? I guess I have no choice but to go with a HKS ECU in my country because there are not alot of tuners here. They are charging about 2300 US$ for the HKS F-Con V pro with install and tune including dyno. Mind if I ask how much you paid for yours including the harness?

AS of now the VPro is not controlling the idle, the stock ecu actually does, we are in the process of wiring the idle to be controlled by the FCON V Pro which will smooth out the idle almost like stock. The VPRO comes in two forms - basically one that uses the stock MAF sensor and one without it.

The FCON Vpro with harness i believe runs around $1200 US. You can contact XS Engineering for more details - 714-698-8300

Thanks.

So you are using both the stock and HKS ecu? Thanks for the info. BTW is there a asian dude who works at XS engineering by the name of Eric who knows how to tune the Apexi Power FC? If not then its probably another XS store.

The HKS Fcon VPRO is a standalone unit but does run with the Stock ECU in place... yes, Eric is the head engineer of XS Engineering in Huntington Beach... he is great at tuning both the APEXi Power FC and HKS FCon V Pro... any questions about tuning, you can call XS at 714-698-8300.. make sure you tell them Robbie from DSport sent ya

We tune the F-Con V Pros and are proud to be one of the few authorized Pro Dealers in the country.

We have the V Pro on our shop EVO. The unit is unbelievable when it comes to driveability and the time it takes to set it up. It does use the stock computer and does piggy back in. You have complete control over all fuel and timing tables though.

We have them instock for the EVO's. We are currently doing one on a big STi build up we are doing too. We like to convert the cars over to speed density and do away with the MAS on the cars.
