Well, first, it's not the TOB that's rattling. It's the floating flywheel between the two clutch disks. Anyway to quiet it down? No... all you can do is not sit at lights with your foot on the clutch, and only push the clutch when going into gear or changing gears (btw that also happens to be the proper way to drive a manual trans car)

If you just want to quiet it down so you don't hear it in the car, then try the dynamat on your firewall, and make sure it's the fire rated kind.

I dont think we are talking about the same thing , the noise iam talkin about is when the chutch is engaged , so the floating flywheel should have pressure on it ?

Just turn your radio up. The sound goes away. I don't know how the radio and clutch are linked!!! Give it a shot!!! It works!!!

I have the same issue with my single disk. Loud under deacceleration/coasting, but performance-wise it is fine.

My HKS twin disc sounds like a bunch of heat shields rattling when you let off the gas to coast.. in other words when you take the load of the clutch. Sounds bad, but it holds good.

You need to hit the track and then the sound becomes less noticeable too. You are just so happy to not have a slipping clutch anymore. Just be careful, don't launch to hard and break something again.

Oh ok, I misunderstood your question.

I have a Cusco Twin (made by exedy) and I don't have any rattle while decelerating. The only time I get any noise out of my clutch is when my foot is on the clutch pedal, it's silent otherwise.
