quartermaster issues
quartermaster issues
I am having some issues with my car. I just got the clutch and trans back from a rebuild. I installed them and everything was shifting great. There was a noise when I pressed the clutch pedal in. A rattle but not your standard chatter or rattle with a quartermaster. I was a little worried about it but it was shifting fine. Yesterday I went out and it was hard getting it in gear, so I parked it.
I was thinking it was the TOB since that is the only time I hear the noise. but after doing some reading it may be that I was overextending the TOB as I don't have a clutch fork. Has anyone bent there fingers due to overextending the TOB? If so what sounds or issues can it be identified by?

I've owned my 8 Leg for about 3 years now and I've never heard that noise. The typical screeching and rattling is common, but that doesnt sound right.
My first clutch cover broke the spring (finger looking pieces) in a couple places, but didnt sound like that; I just had a reduced pedal feel.
