Ok i have a stock evo, and i had the pill/restrictor removed but i noticed as it got colder the boost would rise. stock is like 20psi then drops to 16-18 and with the pill out i would get 22psi then drop to 17-18. This is all reading of autometer gauge. but anyways with the car being all stock can the boost spike engouh to hit fuel cut off or detonate with the pill out? Any input is welcome. I did a serch but they were all about cars with mods overboosting. thanks again

You shouldn't remove the pill in my opinion becuase it causes to high of spikes to begin with, especially on pump gas. Just my opinion though.

You will be hitting fuel cut and I supprised that you haven't hit it already. When you hit it don't worry you will feel it, doesn't feel good at all.

I had the pill out for a good while. Everything was fine until I spiked to 23psi when it first got cold. I got a boost controller the next day.
