Remanufactured cranks

Greetings gentlemen,
I want to build a stroker using a 4G64 crank. Now the problem is that i only found one site that offers the original 4g64 crank and it costs up to 150 bucks more then the remanufactured ones. Question is, are the remanufactured cranks just as good as the originals? will i have any problems with it? hope you guys can help.

Regards...

If you don't know who you are buying from then you are better off with a new crank regardless. Needing to remachine or having to make adjustments will cost you close to the 150 bucks you saved.

Remanufactured can mean many things - how much is it ground, how is it ground, tolearnces, radii, the bearing quality, etc.

Then if the crank has been ground it may be marginal for your purposes. Talk to someone who has used this crank and has experience with it.
