Turbo Timer? Or not

I have noticed that many sti forums claim that since they have some sort of coolant resevoir for their turbo that these cars do not need turbo timers.
Is my evo similar or is it best to put on a turbo timer.
Any help would be nice.

Thanx

a water cooled turbo doesnt cool if the pump that pushes water through it shuts off when you shut the car off. run one, it cant hurt. or just be sure you idle it for a minute or 2 before you get out.

but i personally enjoy walking away from my car when its still running - though it is somthing that you never fully get use to. everyone looks at you like "what the heck" or "dude your cars still running!"

$100 is cheap insurance to a baked turbo!
