Injen Intake and Upper intercooler pipe install

Ok, first BOV sounds sweet. Air Suck is awesome. One slight fitment issue (mounting flange was off about 1 inch, fabbed a mount to help).

Seems to spool quicker.

Now, before install, 2nd gear boost was 21psi fall to 19, 3rd was 22psi fall to 19.5 and 4th and 5th same as 2nd. After install, it is back to 19psi fall to 16/17 psi. Is this normal, after opening the intake up to match the exhaust side (which after that install was when it started spiking that high, before it it was 19 psi fall to 16/17 like any stock car does).

Butt dyno isn't sure of any change, ear sounds seem to override it, but I am getting tuned saturday by Al, so that would help, as untuned intakes don't necessarily make more power. I am going to take it easy, but had to test for boost leaks. Not entirely sure what I have is a boost leak, or just a normal result. Seems a boost leak would keep it from reaching 19psi even.

Just looking for comments/advice on this.

you should lose a few psi with the addition of the intake and I advise getting a BC especially with all those mods you already have.

The untuned injen with piping i've heard actually takes HP away until you have it tuned. I have the same on mine...love the sound, spools quicker...but noticed a little bit of a drop in HP. I'm having TT tune it Saturday though with the tb exhaust, mbc, injen setup, fuel pump, wires, plugs, etc. Should make a big difference.

Yeah, I want a MBC, but before a month ago, I was trying to stay out of SM in autox. Now I am definitely in SM, so a BC is a necessity.
