Well that's good news on the price. Hopefully I am right. I need to check with Magnacore.

Thanks,

Just called Magnacore. You were right. Retail for those two plug wires is, unbelievable, $102!

I will stick to our price of $55 each while we have them left. The next order I place I will probably have to raise the price.

Get them while they are cheap I guess.

The HKS Twin Power is what we are using on most of the EVO's we are doing. I will be testing it but I am going to wait until the car needs it. I don't think at this power level it will do much if anything.

BUT - I bet you would have thought the magna core wires would not have done much either ! When I tested the twin fire I was shocked by the results in the low end tq.

The HP went up a few 3-4 whp in parts of the curve. The really amazing thing was how much smoother the curve was. The plug wires got rid of some small dips I had here and there in the curve. These wires, I have to say are a must have part even on a new EVO, atleast when the HP goes up from stock they are. I'm very impressed. These two wires are $55. I am going to have to do some hunting to double check that as it seems a little high for two plug wires, they did make a very nice difference though. I higher mileage EVO would be even larger.

I wouldn't be surprised if you dyno'd a few HP more by just swapping the stock plugs out for BPR7ES plugs.

I'm thinking BPR8ES with 21lbs, 272's, stage 3 equivalent etc, etc.

You don't need that cold of a plug at that power level.

FMIC dyno results

Now in the SAE corrected mode, which is what most of you want to see and have requested that, the Deluxe FMIC core made more HP from around 3500 up. Looks like around 6-8 whp. Personally and honestly, I don't believe it.
So that's 6-8 whp more for the Deluxe FMIC than for the standard FMIC kit that uses factory piping? Why don't you believe it?
