Question HELP!!! i smell antifreeze!!!

well its not my blitz radiator cap. when i was installing my boost gauge my buddy pointed out an antifreeze puddled on the tranny right above the thermostat. so i think i either have a bad thermo gasket some where or the dreaded blown head gasket. my car has a little under 9k mls. so now the anger sharks are swimming. i dont wont to loss my car to the dealer, but the ****s got to get fix. any advise would be great, jon.

every time i get out of my car after driving i smell antifreeze really bad. i dont know if its my blitz radiator cap or what. when the cars cools i going to put the stock back on and see if that makes a difference. any help or insight would be great. jon

Al just gave you your solution. Did you try the stock cap?

So then did you clean the area and look for the leak? Your other cap just increases the pressure in the system and causes leaks. It's not a good idea to run aftermarket caps. They don't make a difference and they cause leaks. Once you identify the source, fix it. It's just the cooling system. Probably one of the simplest systems on the car. Except for maybe the seating system.

why'd you make the post then if you already know where it's leaking from and how to fix it? take it to the dealership and have it fixed then.
