i was at the track today, i launch the car and after 2nd gear the car acted like it was in neutral, no 3rd or 4th gear. push the gas and the rpms go flying to red line with the car doing the same speed. i let it roll to the finish line, on the way back the car shifted normally but the next pass was the same thing.
is it the clutch or is my transmission going.?

did you get a really horrid smell.... if so your clutch could be the culprit.

yes, it was like something was burning. i've gotten 14000 miles out of it so i guess it did ok.

one more question, if i get the exedy twin plate do i need a flywheel with it?
