Turbo is cutting, is this why?

alright so I had the blitz boost gauge/turbotimer installed on my evo... when it was first installed it was reading 1.40 (hkpa) which is about 19 psi in psi form. after a week or two, at about 5-6 rpms the car boosts to 1.27 then cuts to .97.... now can this be a problem due to the installed of this boost gauge... is there anyway the installation could of caused this? is it just the turbo? weather possbilities (im in new york)? Please any input would be great since im unsure of the problem at hand right now... thank you

Check the line that you tapped for the boost gauge--is it leaking? Also check your other hoses (IC, intake) for leaks and make sure your intake (air box) filter isn't clogged up.

ture, but not all the way to .97, usually if you were boosting at 1.4 it drops to 1.2 but .97...

check the boost settings you have on ur boost controller, that may effect it =)

N.Y. has good gas right? (93 or above), maybe just the weather. which vacuum line did you tap into, and where did you route it through the firewall?, also, does your car feel any diff from before you put in gauge?
