Cold weather and boost controller, help needed

This morning on the way to work it was about 7 degrees outside. Every time before I set out I make sure that the car is warmed up. I have an HKS EVC V and on the display it read I was in boost the entire way to work, and on the way home my peak warning went off and it said I was boosting to 33.7psi. My boost gauge read in vacuum while this was happening. The boost controller never read vacuum and the lowest it went was about 4.7psi. Is this all fact to the cold outside? I checked all my hoses and all were tight. The only thing I can think of is thast the solonoid is mounted horizontally and not vertically. Maybe some condensation got through there during the night and plugged something up in there?

Any ideas or theories?

Did you use the filters like you were supposed to?

No. Damn, I knew I sholud have used them. I still have them, If I remember right they go to the wastegate and the turbo outlet. Time to crank the heat in the garage for a few hours.

Doesn't that just dump as much fuel, needlessly, unless you lean it out to run OK, it doesn't do anything except run at 11psi. Pointless, IMO. but then again, thats my opinion...

Take the solenoid unit inside and let it dry out overnight. Let all the moisture get out of the thing, and then put the filters on it before you take it back outside and finish the instalation.

dryad, I'm also in Milwaukee. It's off topic but was your ride creaky as hell today? The rear deck in mine made the car sound like a pirate ship all creaky and what not.

I noticed the same thing lately. I also have the S-tech's so it a lot stiffer than stock. Once the snow hits the car is parked anyways.
