just got the manifold back from a shop in HongKong(an authorized dealer), first they said this is an OEM tomei part, as it's not on their catalog (no part number), n it usually came with the complete motor they sell on request, so i thought was BS until they showed me the proof of sales and the communicated between them, so what u all think? pics below

P.S. >>>In between the deal i met 2guys on this board and they also came from NJ (John & Brain) cool guys. WHAT A SMALL WORLD!!!

$750 for a manifold is a lot.

It should be half that price.

but i hope it's worth the money. it looks real good.

i woulda trusted it more if it was made in Japan - it looks just like the SSautochrome one that they sell on ebay for $250.

yes, u r right, they looks like the SSautochrome fr. ebay, that's why i asked any one else had it before i bought it, but u know what, after i saw the proof of sale and as an authorized dealer for Tomei in HK, i think it worth to try for this cheap JDM part, cos most of the header from Japan are well over 1000.

from the look of that "professional" paperwork that came with it, id say you just got about 500$ taken away from you. I could be wrong though.

Angry

Yep, Tomei doesn't offer a manifold for the 4G63 and if they did it would have a Tomei part #. I can talk to Mr Suzuki Tomei's CEO about this if you want?? Seems bogus.

dude... i don't know why you guys are complaining about 750 for a header, most headers that are worth buying are twice that much. also... there's no way that tomei makes a 750 twin scroll header, this is tomei the aftermarket engine monstrosity that makes cams and pistons and **** for more than 1000 bucks a pop, ever seen any of the stuff they make for skylines? no one puts anything in their skyline but tomei. this is a knockoff... and i wouldn't trust nothin' comin' from hk, they don't do jdm in hk man... they make everything knockoff there.

btw it does look like an ssautochrome header which is also a knockoff of the hks header (same shape).

if you guys want a header wait one month, there is a header in production right now that is fully cast inconel with long runner design, will basically be bullet proof. stay tuned, it will be advertised soon.

only thing i know about Tomei is they make bad *** cams for b series motors and crappy stroker kits for 4g63s...

ALL equal length manifolds crack, this one too!!!

do yourself a favor and buy a cast one, and while your at it, put a 20g/t67 on....
