hehe apparently rnr's doesn't crack, in fact the person that let me in on the info about the cast iconnel manis has a bet with them right now on his one off prototype mani, he says he can crack it, they say he can't hahaha. then again rnr really brute forces it, their steel is crazy thick, 321!

I had a friend that put all Tomei parts on his evo. He was running low 12s, but a shop installed his head wrong and it blew.

Yup, that's true only if you don't know where to go and act like a dumb tourist.

So that manifold is made in china uh? some of the stuff coming there are generics, copies, imitations or whatever you call it, they're knock off parts. Like ^^^said, would'nt trust any part coming from there.

You could have saved yourself a lot of money and just port/polished your stock exhaust manifold... more gains, more reliable, and much cheaper.

Not to be a BR promoting *****, but do a search and you'll see David Buschur designed an exhaust manifold that he assumed would be perfect for Evos, and his port/polished stock exhaust manifold produced better gains on the dyno. It was a beautiful piece of work though... all tubular manifolds look sexy. =]

^ Better gains? how much? I have been reading posts for a few hours now and haven't found numbers. Did David Buschur post some numbers? where? Also I have read that a lot of people think that the cheap ones will crack. Has anyone with cheap headers SSAC, or Megan, A2Rinc, on thier EVO crack yet.

Man, they can be authorized all they want...I HIGHLY doubt that Tomei made that. This shop is in Hong Kong, and that info alone makes me think its suspect. It is exactly the same type of Manifold we see on Ebay and other places, all with different names. I am assuming that some shop is making these for resell by other distributors and part stores.

Anyhow...just my 2c.
