Upper IC piping keeps blowing off

Does anyone else's upper IC piping keep blowing off? Mine does where the throttle body area and the upper IC connects. I took it to the EVO mechanic and he just tightened it more. I have not accelerated under heavy boost yet, bc thats when it blows off, bc I just wanted to get it home. He said to go to NAPA bc they have hose clamps for big rigs that are much stronger. I don't know why all of a sudden it is blowing off.

Mine did it once, same exact story, buy some T-clamps from NAPA or some place like that for all your intercooler hoses, they're pretty cheap, and they'll stop that from happening, sometime soon I need to go get some...but yeah, same EXACT thing happend to me, I was flooring it in 5th so there was boost for along time, and it popped off, tech said they tightened it as much as possible...it hasn't popped off again...but I still think I'm gonna get some T-clamps, either that, or some new intercooler hoses

yeh, those stock clamps sucks ***. Once you take it off, you could forget about putting it back on.

it's only $4 for 2 at pepboys.

The stock upper hoses are a mess. Buschur has a real good cure for this problem, some real plumbing.

I took the clamp from the MAF pipe to the turbo and put it on there lol, so now i've got 2 clamps on it and it holds just fine.
