I have the Profec B spec 2 and it holds boost like ****. I was wondering if anyone has the Profec B spec 2 V2 and does it hold boost better? Greddy claims the V2 has a bigger solenoid for high boost applications.

I have a JDM MR DV... So that is not the problem. I am thinking it is my Vac lines being to small.... Going to try that tomorrow.

 

Gee I didn't know that they had a version 2. Thought the only newer one is the Profec B Type S which is like the old Profec B. Simple to use but yet dead accurate. The Profec B spec 2 holds boost like crap but all because they have this start boost function on which is bloody sensitive... Gotta wind that down so that the boost is stable and on an evo wth stock turbo thats usually about 0.47 kg/cm... once its set, its pretty stable..

 

Seems like my boost is crazy until it ramps up to full boost. Once it is there it seems fairly stable... Just wondering if the newer "bigger" valve helps? Also my EBC seems kinda laggy and spool isn't that great.
