33,000 miles no problems, I'm wondering what kind of gas the 0P300s are using....
I use Amoco and Marathon 93 octane in TN.
Egon check your plugs... could be your getting the misfire due to worn out plugs.

My Evo had the P0300 issue. It had the problem when the car was stock and while it was modded. I didn't get my first CEL till the car had 24k miles on it. So a few of you with no problems right now, may well have it in another few k miles.

The dealership was not able to fix the problem after 4 visits. So MMNA bought the car back....Lemon lawed... So if anyone has any questions about the lemon law process in CA or in general, feel free to pm me.

SC~

This poll is showing what I expected it to show. Quite random. It looks like mods don't matter.

Happened to me at 1800 and 4300 both fifth gear ones, felt the shutter then the light. But, once I changed the plugs degree colder of course has not happened since, almost 23k on the car now, knock on wood. Getting ready to change them again soon, seems to idle rougher in the first start up now that its staying pretty cold here in chi-town. Running 93 and still happend here so it's not octane level 2liters.

03 stock 30k
get it almost every weekend after going fast on the interstate or after autox sometimes. it stays on for a couple of days then goes off.

i've felt the misfire and seen the drop in rpms a couple of times, a few times i've had to down shift out of it because it was so bad. but usually the light just comes on without me feeling anything.

i don't get it??

after 12 cycles, it clears up. it comes and goes.

some of it when you get it without feeling the misfire is because your ecu being too sensitive.

Actually I'm retarded because it went away because I put in a bushcur mini battery (disconnected power) and it came back on like normal in the morning.

Never had it with 27K miles and I been running the P2 with other mods added over time. Maybe it's due to my spark plug (Denso IW24).

Have you ever used race gas? I think I heard that race gas additives coats the injectors resulting in misfires. But it could be something else, just need to find the common denominator.
