Will a 1g BOV work on a Evo??

Ive seen something about this a while back in a thread but cant seem to find it using the search. My question is, can a 1g BOV from a DSM work with our cars as far as fitment. To the best of my memory, you had to do something to make it work, I just cant remeber what.

it depends on what you mean by fitment

no, it wont fit on the stock location (however the mr DV will and it looks like a 1g)
yes, you can weld a 1g flange onto an upper i/c pipe and bolt the 1g on (like the buschur upper i/c pipe has)

... or you can just get the flanged adapter and run it in the OE Evo location.
