ARC Intake

Is the ARC Induction box worth the money? Is it a good intake in general? I haven't seen many people with one, is there better out there?

looks nice but I think that filter would get dirty real fast. It does have 1 more filter on the side correct? Are those filters washable and are you using stock piping?

Dont take this wrong, Im not makeing a statement, but a question. What makes theres better than stocker. From what Other tuner companys both in the states and out of the states say the stocker is pretty much the s h @#$

Derek888 - Ive had mine a little over 6 months and havent cleaned it yet... 2 roadtrips 800+ miles each and daily driving in chicago.. It does have a second filter and yes stock piping for another week or so... Im waiting on some samco hoses to make my DV fit the pipe i bought.

Eidola Dream - It looks a hell of a lot better than the stock and it is open element but it depends on where you stand on that I bought mine for looks alone

Turbo EK - As far as gains I cant tell you I dont track my car and have no base line dyno before/after comparisons You can definitly hear the spoolup a lot clearer though.

I was real interested in picking up this box too, but I'm not sure I wanna drop 300+$ on an intake box while still using the stock plastic pipes to the turbo *shrug*

For those who are thinking of going hard intercooler piping later on, make sure that the piping can clear the dimensions of the box first. Could save you the headache of non-fitment later on.

any idea how much that box weighs? If its just a filter I dont think the stock piping will be that much difference than a SS in performance?
